  • Step 5: After you finish, restart your computer.

Reinstall Language Pack

  • Step 1: Press Windows + I to open Settings.
  • Step 2: Select Time & Language then choose Language.
  • Step 3: Scroll down to Preferred language, hit Add a language and type Chinese in the search bar.
  • Step 4: Click Next and check the checkboxes next to Install a language pack and Set as my Windows Display language. Feel free to pick additional features like Handwriting.  Afterward, hit Install then allow the process to go from start to finish.
  • Step 5: Restart your computer.

Install Another Language

  • Step 1: Press Windows + I to open Settings.
  • Step 2: Select Time & Language then choose Language.
  • Step 3: Scroll down to Preferred language, hit Add a language then type a language that you understand in the search bar.
  • Step 4: Click Next and check the checkboxes next to Install a language pack and Set as my Windows Display language.
  • Step 5: Hit Install then restart your computer. When the screen comes back on, change back to Chinese and determine whether the issue persists.

Create A New User Account

  • Step 1: Press Windows + I to open Settings, select Accounts and choose Family & other users.
  • Step 2: Git Add someone else to this PC under Other users.
  • Step 3: Pick I don’t have this person’s sign-in information then choose Add a user without a Microsoft account.
  • Step 4: Enter your preferred username and password then click Next.
  • Step 5: Press the Windows key + L to go to the sign-in screen, sign in using the new user account and see how things turn out.
